So this funny thing happened.
I'm still just trying to check my calculations, and verify that I didn't slip into another dimension, but my all my tests confirm an accuracy rate of about 99.99999343% that I do actually now work at Valve Corporation.
I think it would be pointless to explain details about how this classifies as both insanely brilliant and ridiculously exciting. I am in for a real treat... or a head explosion, depending on how I choose to handle the constant tidal wave of daily brilliance and genius. This is a very special place indeed, and its going to challenge the crap out of me. Just how I like it.

What a studio to work for! You must be over the moon. I read the Valve new starters booklet the other day...someone leaked it onto the net and they seem like the best studio in the world to work for. Really happy for you! :)

Sometimes the topic of feature animators vs game animators comes up and it's great to be able to cite the names of some killer games animators who are as good or better than any film animators so I can say that it's really a matter of choice, not that one is better than the other. For a little while there I thought you were off the list for good. Glad you're back on it. :) Just goes to show that you can do amazing work in either arena, and if you're good enough there isn't really any invisible wall preventing you from switching back and forth.
